Michaella Thoman
Meet Michaella Thoman, our creative director at the Student Collective! She is a third year biology student minoring in business administration and loves random coffee trips and finding new fun places to hang out in Newberg. This is her second year on the team and she can’t wait to capture the Fox community this year!
Harry Zhu
Meet Harry Zhu, our communications director at the Student Collective, a freshman computer science student on the cyber security track. His favorite hobbies are trying new restaurants or food and getting to know students here better! This is his first year on the team and he wants to assure that we can share and memorialize small yet inspiring and even key moments that are happening on or off campus.
Anna Parrott
Meet Anna Parrott who is in charge of Public Relations at the Student Collective! She is a junior English major with a concentration in Secondary Education and loves to watch movies, knit, and take care of her many houseplants. This is her first year on the team and she is excited to contribute to the commemoration of our student experience!
Helena Ducusin
Meet Helena Ducusin, the Copy Editor for the Student Collective! She is a senior English major concentrating in Secondary Education with a Writing minor who has always had a passion for story - both reading and telling them - and is excited to share stories from the George Fox community during her first year on the team. When she’s not writing for her blog or reading YA novels, she can be found roller skating, songwriting, and scouring thrift stores for the perfect statement piece.
Brynn Dempster
Meet Brynn Dempster, our photographer at the Student Collective! She is a freshman cinema arts major and music minor who loves to film weddings, take photos, sing, and play the oboe. She also is known for having an unnecessary amount of plants and bird decor. This is her first year on the team and she is looking forward to being a part of making the yearbook look pretty!
Olivia Meier
Meet Olivia Meier, the Graphic Designer for the Student Collective! She is a freshman majoring in Sociology & Politics. Olivia likes to spend time outdoors, drink iced coffee and have movie nights with friends! She's very excited to contribute to this year's book and create something that will document such a unique year!
Sophia Komarek
Meet Sophia Komarek, the Student Collective writer. Sophia is an English and Theater major in the Honors Program at Fox. She loves vlogging, swimming, paddle boarding and goofing off with friends!! This is her first year on the team and she is so excited to capture the memories of the George Fox community and to grow in her experience as a writer.
